Stella Tennant Cause of Death
Scottish model Stella Tennant has died at the age of 50. This was reported by the PA news agency on Wednesday, citing the family. “Stella was a wonderful woman and an inspiration to all of us,” PA quoted from a family letter.
Tennant, the granddaughter of the 11th Duke of Devonshire, Andrew Cavendish, became known as a model in the 90s — she also photographed Juergen Teller, his pictures of the model making a superstar and immortalizing them as “Face of the Decade”.
She ran for designers such as Versace and Alexander McQueen — she was staged as an icon of “heroin chic”. Later she was the face of Chanel and became one of the muses of fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. She was a mother of four children.
Officers were alerted to the sudden death on Tuesday, PA quoted a police spokesman as saying. There were no suspicious circumstances. The family did not provide details on the cause of death.
